A server lifter supports the load while it is raised to the required rack position. Selection involves more than weight: the platform must suit the equipment footprint, reach the lowest and highest installation positions, and allow a controlled transfer into the rack.
The LDLR175 and LDLR250 provide 175 kg and 250 kg lifting options. The LDLR250 also offers powered platform side-shift to help align equipment with the rack. The wider server-lift range includes configurations for different loads and rack heights.

Moving a complete cabinet calls for control of the wheeled load along the whole route. The LiftRite server cabinet tug provides powered movement for a compatible cabinet transport arrangement.
The cabinet must fit between the tug's two fixed-length legs, with one leg outside each side of the cabinet and the cabinet connected in line with the tug. Suitability depends on the connection, total moving weight, cabinet stability, floor conditions and available turning space.
Doorways, thresholds, changes in level and the final positioning point should be considered before equipment is selected. Where a ramp is needed, the ramp and handling arrangement must suit the load and route.
Battery modules and non-standard server assemblies can require a different platform or attachment from a conventional server node. The load must be supported at suitable points and transferred without interfering with the rack or surrounding equipment.
LiftRite can assess the weight, dimensions, centre of gravity, removal direction and access around the installation. For equipment used in liquid-cooling systems, the handling method also needs to suit the cooling-system layout and equipment manufacturer's requirements.
