What determines suitability: total load, wheel condition, hitch arrangement, floor surface, gradients, turning space, stopping distance and pedestrian traffic. The towing capacity and operating limits must be confirmed for the particular tug and route.
The Electric Container Loading System uses a height-adjustable table to support baggage transfer from a conveyor or lateral into a container. The Launcher version provides powered placement at the press of a button; the version without Launcher requires the handler to push the bag from the supporting table. Container access, conveyor height and left- or right-side layout determine the configuration.
The Electric Container Unloading System supports the transfer of baggage from Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and carts. It can be arranged on ceiling rails, beside carousels or within lateral systems. Button controls, sideways movement and automatic fold-up parking help fit the equipment around the workstation.
The Basic vacuum gripper supports transfers between trolleys, chutes and conveyor belts. It has lift and release controls, a swivel for continuous 360-degree rotation, and a complementary hook option for soft bags. The system can work with a traverse or FlexiCrane jib, subject to the bag mix, reach and headroom.
