Drums may need to be moved from pallets, raised to a process vessel, rotated for decanting or handled in clean and controlled production areas. LiftRite offers drum trucks, transporters and manipulators with gripping options suited to the drum material and rim profile.
Reels can be difficult to control because weight is concentrated away from the operator and the roll often must align precisely with a spindle or machine. Our reel lifting and manipulation solutions can use mandrels, cradles, clamps or purpose-built tooling to pick, rotate and position the load.
We consider the starting orientation, pickup height, required rotation, final insertion height, core diameter, roll width and available turning circle. Powered travel, counterbalance bases and custom tooling can be incorporated where standard equipment cannot complete the movement safely and accurately.
